1. At ignition inclusion (before engine start) the signalling device "ABS" which dies away in 3 seconds lights up. Simultaneously with it joins and quickly the signalling device "BRAKE" dies away.
2. At starter inclusion both signalling devices: red "BRAKE" and yellow "ABS" should burn constantly.
3. After start-up of the engine the signalling device "BRAKE" should be switched off immediately, and a signalling device "ABS" – after 3-4 seconds.
The size of the tyres established on the car, is very important from the point of view of working capacity ABS. At replacement of tyres it is necessary to use only tyres similar in the sizes, load-carrying capacity, a design and under other operational characteristics to original tyres by which the new car has been completed. It is necessary to pay attention to standard marks of tyres. To replace tyres follows only the whole complete sets on an axis. Установ ка on the car of other tyres can seriously affect working capacity ABS.
ABS consists of standard brake system and additional knots. The brake system includes the vacuum amplifier, the main brake cylinder, forward disk brake mechanisms, back drum-type brakes with active and passive колодками, brake pipelines and hoses, the gauge of falling of level of a brake liquid and a signalling device "BRAKE". Into number of additional knots ABS enter: hydraulic modulators with an electromechanical drive, ТECU, the relay of a food of the actuation mechanisms, two safety locks, four gauges of angular speed of wheels (on each wheel), electric conducting, a control mean a signalling device and a signalling device "ABS".
The modulator and electromechanical drive include the case, the piston, шариковинтовую transfer, the return valve, ЭМК (only for forward wheels), the electric motor, a brake spring and шестеренную transfer. The modulator is intended for regulation of pressure of a brake liquid in the wheel cylinder.
Management of process of braking of separate wheels carries out microprocessor ТECU. On input ТECU signals from gauges of angular speed of wheels, the switch of a stoplight and the ignition lock arrive. A food of executive knots ABS is carried out from ТECU and batteries through the relay which inclusion operates ТECU. Three electric motors of the modulators are connected To exit ТECU, two ЭМК the relay of inclusion of a food of actuation mechanisms ABS and a diagnostic socket. The consecutive line of data ТECU is connected to the plug of M of a diagnostic socket and provides transfer of the diagnostic information at check of serviceability of system. ТECU supervises angular speeds of all four wheels. If at the pressed brake pedal (the stoplight is included) blocking of one of wheels begins, ТECU gives a command to corresponding modulator on pressure decrease of a brake liquid in the working cylinder of this wheel. Thus joins ЭМК and the electric motor of a drive of the modulator. After reduction проскальзывания wheels ТECU gives a command on pressure increase in the wheel cylinder and watches change of angular speed of a wheel. At increase проскальзывания ТECU again gives a command on разблокирование wheels. The described cycles регулирова ния pressure of a brake liquid repeat to a stop of the car or отпускания a brake pedal or until danger of blocking of braking wheels remains. Except direct functions of management ТECU carries out self-diagnostics and diagnostics of all gauges and the actuation mechanisms connected to its input and an exit. At обнаруже нии any refusal in ABS ТECU establishes a corresponding code неисправ ности and brings it in non-volatile memory (ROM) in which the information remains even at food switching-off.
ТECU is not subject to dismantling and repair in operation. At refusal the block is replaced entirely.
The inductive gauge of angular speed of a forward wheel is established on a fist of a rack of a forward suspension bracket. The magnetic core of the gauge is located with a small backlash from a wreath of a gear ring which rotates together with a forward wheel of the car. At ring rotation in a gauge winding variable ЭДС is directed. The amplitude and frequency of a signal of the gauge depend on speed of movement of the car, increasing together with it. And, frequency of a signal of the gauge is proportional to speed of the car. The gauge of angular speed is executed not folding. The backlash between the core of the gauge and a gear ring is not subject to adjustment while in service.
Gear ring with 47 in regular intervals located teeths напрессовано on the case of the external hinge of equal angular speeds of a drive of a forward wheel. At carrying out of servicing or repair of a forward suspension bracket and a drive of driving wheels it is necessary to show care not to damage or to break ring teeths. If ring teeths have appeared damaged, it is necessary to replace the external hinge of a drive of a forward wheel.
The gauge of angular speed of a back wheel works to similarly forward gauge. The gauge and a gear ring are built in knot of a nave of a back wheel. At damage of the gauge or a gear ring it is necessary to replace a nave in gathering.
Normally opened relay is calculated on the considerable current necessary for a food of actuation mechanisms ABS. The relay at the command of ТECU connects the storage battery to an input of the block which operates a food of electric motors and ЭМК modulators. The relay is located on the right side of motor branch about the block of hydraulic modulators, установленно го on a mudguard.
In the course of work ТECU constantly spends self-diagnostics and diagnostics of remote terminal units ABS. At refusal detection in ABS the yellow signalling device "ABS" starts to blink or burns constantly, informing the driver on refusal. The signalling device blinks, if the arisen malfunction does not deduce at once ABS out of operation. Nevertheless, at a blinking signal "ABS" it is necessary to check up as soon as possible system and to eliminate malfunctions. At occurrence of serious refusal which препятству ет to normal work ABS, the signalling device "ABS" burns constantly. Car braking in a mode with working ABS is impossible. However the Brake system of the car can work in the basic mode of braking (without inclusion ABS). In this case it is necessary to find out a cause of defect and to repair ABS.
The signalling device "BRAKE" red colour joins in following cases: at falling of level of a brake liquid below norm, inclusion of a lay brake, at the included ignition and the idle engine or at the command of TEBU ТECU includes a signalling device "ВRAKE" at occurrence in ABS such refusals which can affect working capacity of brake system. In this case ТECU brings in memory a code of corresponding malfunction, code А086 about signalling device inclusion "BRAKE ' and switches off ABS.
The electronic device switches off a signalling device "ABS" at the command of ТECU. Before reception of a command from ТECU the signalling device "ABS" remains included.
The brake liquid can cause irritation of eyes and a skin. At hit of a brake liquid on open sites of a body it is necessary to execute the following. At liquid hit in eyes – carefully to wash out water. At liquid hit on a skin – to wash out water with soap. At hit in a food path – immediately to address for medicine ской the help.
It is necessary to avoid hit of drops of a brake liquid on the painted surfaces of the Body of the car, isolation of electric wires and sockets of conducting and electric equipment devices the Brake liquid has ability to damage a paint and varnish covering and electric equipment conducting.
