The unit 4T40 is intended for переднеп риводных cars and represents automatic transmission with электронногидравлическим management. In transmission the transmission with four transfers of a forward course (including one transfer – raising) and one transfer of a backing is established. Management of a transmission carries out electronic БУТ by means of two executive ЭМК switchings. The hydraulic system of transmission eats from лопастного the pump. Pressure of a working liquid in system is regulated БУТ by means of the electromagnetic valve of a regulator of pressure (ЭРД).
The automatic transmission can work in one of seven ranges:
Р (Parking) – Mechanical blocking of a target shaft of the transmission, preventing spontaneous movement of the car. With a view of большей safety range Р joins on parking simultaneously with a lay brake of the car.
R (Backing) – Inclusion of transfer of a backing.
N (Neutral) – Neutral position of a transmission is used at start-up and engine work on the motionless car. This range joins also if necessary to start the decayed Engine on the moving car.
D (Movement) – the Range is used in all usual traffic conditions of the car. The range provides automatic switching of all transfers of a forward course and management of blocking ГТ. Дли fulfilment of the confident and safe overtakings hill-climbing gear inclusion by full pressing an accelerator pedal is applied.
3 – the Range is applied at trips on a city, at movement in hilly district or trailer towage. The range provides automatic switching of 1st, 2nd and 3rd transfers. Inclusion of 4th transfer is impossible. Compulsory inclusion of hill-climbing gears is made similarly to range D by full pressing an accelerator pedal.
2 – the Range provides автомати ческое to switching of 1st and 2-2-transfers. It is used for intensive dispersal and intensive braking. The range 2 can be included on any speed of the car.
1 – Inclusion of 1st transfer. The range 1 is used in need of intensive braking by the engine. To a transmission can be included in a range 1 on any speed of the car, but inclusion of 1st transfer will occur only after decrease in speed of the car to 48–56 km/h.
Automatic Transmission 4T40 consists of following basic knots.
